Tomorrow

Is the day before competition. We will meet in Mr. Whyte's room, though we will probably spend most of the day in the library, working on speeches and impromptu speeches.
Don't forget to bring the clothes you plan to wear on Saturday, so I can make sure that they are appropriate.
We're almost there you guys!
Just a couple more days :)

Speeches

Our first day of competition is coming up quite soon - the weekend after next. Since this day is about prepared/impromptu speeches, essays, and interview, we should really be focusing on memorizing our speeches and practicing them as much as possible. Have them in a final state by Tuesday so we can continue our preparation. Now is not the time to create a speech; now is the time to memorize and fine-tune what we already have. Only a 12 more days, and then we give our speeches! So let's be as ready as possible.

Remember, a few slides on each person, or each group of persons is needed so that we can work on a more complete timeline with Ms. Mercado. Do the research and slides and have them ready by Monday when we return so that we can present the slides completely in Tuesday to Ms. Mercado. Be thorough, but concise. Important details only.

Have a happy new year and I will see all you again on Monday.
